We are now taking bookings on Airbnb! Our recently renovated ‘Stable House’ is now open for bookings any time of the week, any time of year outside of weddings.

Situated on the Scorrier Estate, the Stable House is completely private – an escape in ‘proper’ rural Cornwall. With five en-suite bedrooms (sleeping 10 in total) and a large kitchen dining room, the Stable House is ideal for large parties. That said, we are more than happy to provide packages for smaller parties on a room-by-room basis.

If you are not familiar with AirBnB, it facilitates booking accommodation of all types, all over the world.

Guest Access

You will have access to the entire house as well as the cobbled stable yard where there is an outdoor table and chairs.

On request, you can tour Scorrier’s historic garden. This is a very famous Cornish garden that is not normally open to the public.

The Neighbourhood

Scorrier sits roughly in the centre of Cornwall, so all the county’s attractions are within comfortable driving distance. Closer to home (3 miles) is the North Cornish coast with its world-class surfing beaches (Porthtowan, Chapel Porth, St Agnes),

One of Cornwall’s more famous bicycle routes, the Coast-to-Coast mineral tramway, goes straight past our driveway. This links Deveron on Cornwall’s south coast with Portreath on the north (featured in a recent BBC documentary)

Nearby walks and bike trails are aplenty as are beaches – the north coast for surfing and the south for sailing, swimming, fishing, (website hidden) Ives, Penzance, Mousehole, Falmouth, Newquay and Truro are all within easy reach.
